Made It Monday

Guys! Look...I'm blogging again in less than a week. Gold star for me, please.

I have been dying to share with ya'll my latest Made It Monday (which is like, a month overdue but let's just pretend...)

Ok, so around Christmas time, I decided to redo my bedroom decor. The hubs was thrilled. [not.]
Even though we have a walk-in closet, I needed more space for dresses and sweaters/jackets [can I get an Amen!??] so we bought a stand-alone wardrobe from Home Depot and I painted it turquoise.

THEN, I got two old screen doors from my Great-Grandmother's house in Clarksville, TX and after scrubbing those bad boys, I repainted them to match my turquoise closet.

were very close in color BEFORE I painted them, to the after color :)

I also made the baby. ;) He's my best work of art yet! :)

I'm back!! Can you believe it?! 3 days in a row! (Ok, I'll admit it..I've totally utilized the scheduling feature so that I could "get ahead" on posts but it totally counts!) 

Today's Topic: Share a post about your family. 

Um, I could probably write a BOOK about my fam. I am extremely proud of my family :) 

Ok, so my little family includes me, my hubs (Russell) and my adorable little Jackson...and our 2 kitties Ike and Abe. Here is a picture of us from our patriotic picnic at our church :)

We are so lucky to live in the middle of the Dallas/Fort Worth area because we are right in between our families! (My parents live 20 minutes toward Dallas and my hubs fam lives 30 minutes toward Ft. Worth)..So that means I have pics of my family with baby J! 

 Jackson is very spoiled to get to see his Pops, LiLi and Uncle Adam at least once a week! 

We are actually on our first "trip" of the summer right now and are camped out in Texarkana, TX at my aunt's house and then next week we are taking off for the Holley family vacation (my parents). Then we are home 2 weeks before going on the Andrews family vacation (which includes 4 kids under the age of 3--whoo hoo!). Can't wait to read about other bloggers' families! Have a great Thursday!
